Newest Playlist and the Mystery of Nedelle
Here's what I've got in rotation:

BTW, some of you may have heard the RLB song Fragile Wrists, written by our own Christopher Wu. In case you haven't, here's what Wu wrote about the song when we recorded it in the fall of 2002:
This song is about this girl who used to work at Amoeba who was really cute and extra cool because she was the "hip chick who worked at a record store." I was always very polite and she always wore wrists guards to avoid carpel tunnel (I guess). Then she disappeared. She would never date me though, I'm not hip enough, I can see her going out with someone in the Strokes or something.
As it turns out (and unbeknownst to young Wu at the time) that young lady was none other than Nedelle Torrisi of Nedelle and Thom. See, when Wu got the Nedelle and Thom record and saw Nedelle's picture, he had a sneaking suspicion that Nedelle was in fact "amoeba chick". He has since recieved independent confirmation that she did in fact work at Aomeba Records in Berkeley. That's our Wu, always a trendsetter. Now here's one more twist; from an SF Weekly article about her:
Doctors soon diagnosed her as having fibromyalgia, a disease with no known cause or cure, which affects the muscles, ligaments, and tendons. The condition made playing guitar and piano -- or even typing on a computer -- increasingly difficult.
So, she does, in fact, have fragile wrists! Anyways, Wu is very much enjoying the Nedelle and Thom record (and so am I), and we are going to see the N&T show at Hemlock Tavern on September 4th. Now all we need is 'Roma Girl' to show up in a band too.
